What we Believe (at Heartland Builders)

1. Every home should be energy efficient, have good
indoor air quality, be material efficient and
resource efficient.

2. You should "Build with Confidence" (ask us?)

3. Customers should make all of their selections before you break ground.

4. If you think you can own a home for the same cost as you can rent a
home then renting is the right decision for you.

5. Builders should build "spec homes" to the same quality as they build
a custom home.

6. Builders should give their customers a definitive schedule of
construction. Adjustments may occur, but should not be lengthy or
without an easy, understandable explanation.

7. Customers should go into building a home with their heads; let your
heart take over when the financial decisions are all made.

8. Customers should live within their means.

9. Our industry should figure out how to convey information properly,
concisely and timely. We make it harder on customers then it has to
be.

10. Building a home is a fun experience if (1) a customer can make a
decision, and (2) live within their means.

11. You pick your builder based on philosophy, not on price.
